Excess Weight

The cost of the waybill covers a specific weight. There is an additional charge for every ½ kilo of excess weight on the shipment. For low density shipments (lightweight but large volume), volumetric weight is calculated according to the IATA (International Air Transportation Association) formula:

Volumetric weight is used for the rate if it is greater than the physical weight. In case the volumetric weight is applied, the invoice will specify the dimensions registered in the system: length, height and width.
