Shipments to or from the border

Shipments whose origin or destination is in a border zone are subject to special requirements.

• For shipments with border destinations deposited in sales points, original and copy of official identification (voter registration card or valid passport) are required and, if pertinent, a copy of the import application form and corresponding invoice or bill of sale, in accordance with Arts. 29 A and 29 B of the Mexican Tax Laws.
  
  The client must declare that the shipment does not contain any of the forbidden articles described in the Estafeta Rate Chart or Services Agreement.
  
  
• For shipments from the border or from free zones (returns included), original and copy of the import application form and corresponding invoice or bill of sale are required, in accordance with Arts. 29 A and 29 B of the Mexican Tax Laws. Shipment release is the client’s responsibility.

If the vehicle transporting these shipments is subject to inspection by the authorities, delivery may be delayed up to 24 hours.
