Forbbiden Articles

As stipulated in clause tenth of the Service Agreement, Estafeta does not accept shipments that contain:

• Alcoholic beverages.
• Animal skins and furs.
• Weapons and firearms of all kinds.
• Animals and plants (dead or alive).
• Liquids.
• Solvents and corrosive substances.
• Controlled, restricted medications.
• Pornographic material.
• Glass in any form.
• Perishable, easily spoiled articles.
• Falsifications (unauthorized, pirated reproductions).
• Laboratory specimens (toxic, dangerous or requiring special handling).
• Jewels, currency and securities.
• Foreign merchandise lacking import documentation.
• Narcotics, controlled substances and psychotropic drugs (chemical precursors and basic chemicals).
• Explosives and compressed gas.
• Inflammable liquid or solid materials.
• Radioactive or magnetic objects.
• Oxidizing materials.
• Toxic articles, irritants and contagious substances.

For international shipments the following items are also included in this category:

• Medications (all type).
• Foodstuffs.
• Nutritional supplements.
• License plates.
